Groups and sorting for Dynamic DNS and port forwarding
DDNS tasks and port forwarding rules can have a "Group" (up to 64 characters). The list shows groups as collapsible sections, and the collapsed state is kept in the browser. A new search box at the top of the page filters DDNS tasks by name, group, domain or provider, and port forwarding rules by name, group, listen port, target or SNI domain. Click "Sort" to enter sort mode, where you can move items up and down, move whole groups or drag items. See Dynamic DNS and Port forwarding.
Bulk grouping and dragging several items
Sort mode on the Web Service, Dynamic DNS and port forwarding pages now supports selecting several items:
- Each item has a checkbox, and the checkbox on a group header selects the whole group;
- Dragging any checked item moves all checked items together in their current order; dropping onto an item or the header of another group moves them into that group;
- Enter or pick a group name in the toolbar and click "Move to group" to put the checked items at the end of that group, or leave it empty to remove them from their group.
Renaming groups
Hover over a group header and click the pencil button to rename the group. Everything in it moves to the new name and keeps its position and order; choosing a name that is already in use merges the two groups after a confirmation. For sites, see Web Service.
API
New PUT /api/ddns/tasks-group and PUT /api/portforward/rules-group take {"keys": [...], "group": "..."} and set the group of several items at once; an empty group removes them from their group. Tasks and rules gain a group field. Reordering still uses the existing -order endpoints.
Upgrade notes
- Existing tasks and rules are ungrouped after the upgrade, so the lists look the same as before.
- Groups and order only affect the management UI: changing them does not trigger a new DDNS check or restart port forwarding, and open connections stay up.
